    APPLICATION

    The completely redesigned Operating Theatre (OPSL) range is optimised for hospitals, emergency and veterinarian operating theatres.

    DESIGN

    The OPSL now weighs 8.3kg and has a recessed depth of 54mm only. Developed as a unique solution, it meets the requirements of specialist operating theatre installations where a fully sealed luminaire is needed to prevent contamination.

    OPTICS

    Glare Reducing Delta Diffuser coupled with Microstructured Control Film and an acrylic wipe-down layer on the outside.

    Certain cleaning agents with a high concentration of corrosive chemicals may damage the wipe-down layer. Please contact your customer service representative to make sure the cleaning agent(s) you plan to use are safe for the luminaire.


    CONTROL

    DALI-2 with constant light output (CLO) as standard.

    The luminaire can be installed with separate switching/dimming depending on requirements.

    INSTALLATION

    Plaster Recessed ceiling installation. Installation needs to be done based on the selected layout (typically 3x3) and using the special Start, Intermediate, Corner and End models as required by the layout. The singular model must only be used for standalone installations.

    EMERGENCY

    Non-monitored and DALI-monitored Emergency options are available.

    NOTES

    • Lengths are customisable on request.
    • Antimicrobial powder coating as standard
    • Additional light sources including Green, Blue, Red and Deep Red are also available to suit varied operating theatre requirements.

● All photometric (including flicker metrics), spectrometric, electrical, and thermal data have a tolerance of ±5%.

● The value indicated by the UGR icon refers to the lowest UGR value achievable by at least one standard variant of a given product family. It may not necessarily apply to all standard variants.

● The Unified Glare Rating (UGR) is a function of the entire design space, including but not limited to the optical properties of the ceiling and walls, as well as the properties and spacing of all other luminaires in the calculation space. It is not an intrinsic property of a light fitting and should not be quoted as such.

● All UGR values stated by Eagle Lighting are calculated in compliance with AS/NZS 1680.1-2006 (aligned with CIE 117-1995) and are achievable with standard room sizes and luminaire spacing based on the specific luminaire model.

● The following design parameters apply unless otherwise specified:

 - Light Loss Factor (LLF): 0.80 (Nominal)
 - Room Reflectance Values (Ceiling/Walls/Floor): 0.70/0.50/0.20
 - Ceiling Height: 2.7m
 - Horizontal Illuminance (Eh) calculated at 0.72m above finished floor level (AFFL)
 - 3 x 3 simple square layout in an 8.0 x 7.0m room.
