The Pleiad Robust is a recessed downlight with a 205mm cutout diameter and the highest class of impact resistance, IK10, providing the maximum level of protection against product damage.
The luminaire reflector ring is locked and fastened with tamper-proof torx screws to prevent access and dismantling, enabling it for anti-ligature requirements.
The fitting is designed for recessed mounting in unventilated or ventilated suspended ceilings with an IP64 rating under a suspended ceiling and IP 20 above a suspended ceiling. The total depth of the fitting is only 98mm high. The Class III luminaire body is made of cast aluminium with a two-part visible aluminium edge ring, available in anodised silver, white or black colour options. The luminaire has a highly durable PETG diffuser plate situated between the rings and covering the luminaire opening.
The luminaire body and the driver is very quickly and simply interconnected with a snap-in connector for easy installation.
Equipped as standard with CLO (Constant Light Output) optimised illumination is provided for the duration of the rated life of the installation. CLO ensures the space is not inefficiently over lit from day one and reduces energy consumption over the entire installation life, reducing the total cost of ownership. Pleiad Robust has an impressive L90 B50 100,000 hour useful life rating.
Beam distributions include Narrow, Medium and Wide with the acrylic reflector available in a matt, black or white colour. Colour temperatures include 3000K or 4000K and Tuneable White (2700 – 6500 K) TW is equipped with DALI Device type 8 drivers.
